| Size comparison with Semi-palmated Sandpiper. The combination of yellow legs and bicolored bill narrows the possibility to Pectoral, Sharp-tailed, and Cox's Sandpiper. The bill is not particularly long, making this not a good fit for Cox's. The thick neck and the contrast between the eye stripe and the lower part of the face make Sharp-tailed a better fit than either Pectoral or Cox's Sandpiper. The tail appears very sharply pointed in this shot.
